Drama Review : Tokyo Dogs

Hello! Today I'm in the mood of doing drama review. I just finished watching Japanese Drama - Tokyo Dogs. Have you watched it. This drama has been broadcast in 2009. And I'm watching it in 2013. Huhu. It was a story about an elite cop and a detective that been paired together to solve criminal cases.

Cast :

Shun Oguri as Takakura So

Hiro Mizushima as Kudo Maruo

Yuriko Yoshitaka - Matsunaga Yuki

Synopsis :

Takakura So witnessed his father's murder at a young age. Pledging to catch the killer, he grows up to become an elite cop in New York City, where the criminal lives. His character is cool-headed and disciplined, yet adapts well. Because of major drug dealings, he gets sent to Tokyo to conduct a joint investigation with the Japanese police. There, he gets teamed up with, Kudo Maruo, a detective from a special investigative division. Kudo is a hot-blooded fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent, but he makes a strong impression with his stylish appearance and is always interested in going on group dates. His personality, interests, and investigation methods are completely mismatched with Takakura's, but the two somehow work together to crack the case they've been given. Tokyo_DOGS

There's one thing that I really like about Oguri Shun (Takakura So) characters in this drama. That is, he never ignore his mom's phone call. His mom always called him whenever he's at the crime scene or when he chase after the criminals. But, he still answered the phone call and listened to what his mom would like to say. Even his mom just want to ask about small things and not important at all. For example, his mom would like to buy a fish and call him just to ask about what types or kind of fish she should buy. Or what they should eat when they have dinner together. He will still listen even though he can't give her an answer and just tell her that he will call back after ten minutes.

His mom, sister and his sister's boyfriend.

Answering his mom phone call

Kudo Maruo and Takakura So
I think that we should never ever ignore our parents when they call us. Because we never know that it may be their last phone call to us.  And we should listen to what they want to say even though it just 'hello' and not important. Sometimes, they just want to hear our voice. Never ignore them no matter how busy we are.

That's all for now. Hey, you should watch this drama. ^_^
